Museum Gift Shop

If you want to know more about the people and places of the Great Plains and west central Nebraska, the Lincoln County Historical Museum gift shop is the place. It offers a large selection of items that tell the history of the region and the story of its people. It also showcases local artists’ and craftsmen’s work and even Grow Nebraska products.

Types of Items Available

Ever had corn cob or sand cherry jelly? If you’re not from Nebraska, then probably not. Now is your chance! The museum gift shop has this and more from Grow Nebraska member “Hometown Produce” located nearby in Brady, Nebraska.

Do you want worked leather wallets, coin purses, or even a custom project made by renowned leather worker and resident of North Platte, Jean Allen (her work was even requested by the country singer Garth Brooks)? We have a good selection of her work.

Finally, if you’re looking for more about the North Platte World War II Canteen, you have come to the right place. The museum gift shop carries everything from the book Once Upon a Town to The North Platte Canteen Cookbook to Canteen T-shirts.

Take home an item from our Nebraska museum gift shop and you'll be taking home a piece of Nebraska history and culture.
